Cultural Arts Celebrations and Events

The Burwell School also provides a venue for community gatherings. Local artists, painters, authors and musical groups find exposure at the Burwell School through Last Fridays gatherings, lectures, art exhibits, concerts and literary events.

Hillsborough Literary Association

The Hillsborough Literary Association highlight the area's literary community through readings, book signings, dramatic interpretations of literary works, and the Children's Holiday Storytime.

Last Fridays

From May through August, the Burwell School collaborates with the Hillsborough Arts Council's Last Fridays celebrations.

Open Studio Tour

From late October to mid-November every year, The Burwell School is a venue for local artists for exhibit their work. In addition to exhibits by individual artists, the Burwell School serves as the northern location for the annual Orange County Artists' Guild Open Studio Tour.
